About our Services

Join us for meaningful and inclusive Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services rooted in queer, trans, non-Zionist, anti-Zionist, questioning, curious, and exploratory community. Through sacred song, ritual, prayer, and collective reflection, we will welcome the new year together.

Our services will make space for both ecstatic joy and collective grief, honoring the fullness of this moment and the many experiences we bring into it.

Join the High Holy Days Singing Team

If you are interested in diving deeper into the music of the High Holy Days, we invite you to join the Tzimtzum High Holy Day singing team. The singing team sits on or near the bima during the services to lift up and enrich the music of the holidays. We will meet for 4 sessions leading up to the holidays to learn the key songs and prayers in the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. We will also explore the meaning of these prayers in addition to learning and practicing the tunes. This is led by cantorial soloist Kiki Lipsett. RSVP at tzimtzumcollective@gmail.com
