Membership is core to our organization. We do not receive funding from traditional Jewish sources, which is why your support is so crucial. We are at a pivotal moment in our community’s journey, and now is the time to invest in the Jewish future we believe in and want to see thrive.
Please select a membership fee that reflects your financial situation. We operate on the honor system and deeply appreciate your contribution.
We invite all students to join our community membership with special rates. In general, if you cannot afford the listed rates but want to become a member, please reach out to us. We want you to become a member based on fairness and equity.
NOTAFLOF: Pay What You Can
At Tzimtzum, no one is turned away for lack of funds (NOTAFLOF) , pay-what-you-can spots. If you are Black, Indigenous, a Person of Color, and/or disabled, and/or paying more would be a significant hardship, this option is for you, and we are so excited to have you join us!
The Jewish value of Tzedakah teaches us to redistribute resources so that everyone can live with dignity. This resource lists hundreds of Palestinian families on the frontlines of genocide. Alongside paying a suggested membership rate to Tzimtzum below, please read about these families and donate what you can.

This is a pay-it-forward rate. It's an opportunity to pay the full cost of your membership and support one to three other people (who are students or financially not able to pay) in your community to be Tzimtzum members as well. Please consider paying this amount if you not only are consistently able to meet your basic needs (food, housing, healthcare, transportation, childcare) but also own the home your live in or rent a higher end property, have access to financial savings and/or investments, have paid or pay for private education, have reliable work or do not need to work to meet your needs, have inherited wealth, and/or can afford to travel every year.
